I met Rita at a Pleasant Hill community activity three years ago. We were just beginning to think about selling our house and getting something bigger. She was so charming and personable, and my instincts were telling me she was the one; she would help us sell our house that we were bursting at the seems in and buy our dream house. Due to past credit issues, this was not an easy process for us and it took another couple years before we were really ready to move. In that time, Rita gave us superb advice (even before we had signed on with her) about how to declutter our house, what colors to paint, and what repairs would be worth the return. She was savvy and smart from the very start. Next came the actual process of selling our house. Rita knew the best ways to insure that we got the most money from our house. She helped us stage the home just so and arranged for a very talented photographer to do the pictures. I'm not going to say that the process was stress-free, but Rita was there the whole time, ready to answer questions and calm nerves with her professionalism, expertise, and savvy. She helped us get 65k over asking on our house, which gave us a good down for the house she helped us to buy shortly after. I can't say enough good about this woman. She stays very poised under pressure, went above and beyond in terms of communication, put in a great deal of time, energy, and heart, and knew how to negotiate with our sellers in order to insure that we were able to get our house at a good price. Being a good communicator is essential to this line of work and this is probably one of Rita's greatest strengths. She is sweet and truthful and kind, but she also knows how to assert herself when it's necessary to stand up for her clients. One final thing- it is a testament to her dedication to us that she worked tirelessly all though her pregnancy and up until the hour she left for the hospital to have her baby. She was up and working again only a few days after delivery. Now, that's tenacity! Today, we are living in our dream home, swimming in our pool, and enjoying all the extra space and charm that this home she helped us buy affords. Thank, Rita!
