We highly recommend Topher Cushman. Topher helped us find our house in 2011. From the first day we met him, Topher was quick to the chase, accommodating, aggressive and eager to find us our dream home. After our initial meeting, Topher got in touch with us every single day with new listings. Sometimes after seeing a home or two with him during the day, later that same evening he would email us with a few more. He always had useful information about the house and the neighborhood. He also could provide some history of the neighborhoods which was not only informative but interesting to learn. Topher really knows the District - he can give you information and statistics about each neighborhood and he is honest about quality of life in each. Topher was instrumental in getting the sellers to decrease the price of our house pretty dramatically. After we found a few things wrong with the house (using a home inspector Topher had recommended) we were able to use that information to bring down the price. Then, there was also an issue with the floors on the first floor of our house and Topher used that to get the cost down again. This being our first home purchase, Topher passed along several names for mortgage lenders, title companies, painters and carpenters - and I kid you not when I say we've used all of them and have been so pleased with the results of everything.Topher is a trustworthy realtor. He will make you his priority and will not rest until he finds you something. This is our first house but it really is a home for us. We love the house and we love the neighborhood and are grateful to Topher for helping us find it.
