We began looking for a house at the most difficult time for our family. We were pregnant with our second child and still living in a studio apartment. Marni worked endlessly to find us new houses within our budget to view at the most precarious time in the market. She showed great patience as we could feel that she wanted to find the right house for us as much as we wanted it for ourselves. Using her contacts, she was able to show us a house that had yet to come on the market. It was by far the best house we had seen. Marni was able to negotiate terms with the potential sellers not to post the house but but sell directly to us. She saved us thousands of dollars in the process. After two real estate deals in my life which were not a greatest experience, I met Michael 6 months before I put my home on the market. during that time he didn't pressure me and I decided to give him a try. He catered to my needs as far as timing and after numerous schedule changes we finally listed the house. In preparation to go on the market, Michael helped and guided me in making decisions on the work that needed to be done to make the biggest impact. He even showed up and helped me with some of my carpentry needs to finish off the house. As I'm not a real estate professional when Michael told me his strategy to market and sell my house I had my concerns. He wanted to expose my house, set an offer date and hold off on looking at offers until as many people as possible had a chance to see my house. Frankly I wanted to take the first thing that came along, but I went with his suggestion. I am so happy I did because after 3 open houses and all of the marketing we received 8 offers and most of them were well over asking. Once we got into contract Michael didnt stop working to protect my interests. He immediately put the second strongest offer into the backup position. That turned out to be a smart move as the first escrow canceled and the backup slid right into first position without even loosing a day. He negotiated strongly on my behalf throughout the whole transaction. I couldnt be more pleased with the service Ive received. Michael was professional, detailed, and always acted with my best interests. I recommend him to anyone who wants to buy or sell their home.
