Meredith was our agent for buying a home in Orinda this past summer and was amazing! Why we loved working with Meredith:- Once we settled on our dream home and decided to make an offer, she did an amazing job to win the deal. It was hyper competitive (10+ offers) and she did a few great things to help us win out - 1) she built a good relationship with the seller's agent, who was not local, and 2) she gathered a bunch of data before we made the offer so we had a sense of what it would take to win, and 3) she put together a very professional, straight forward offer package for the sellers. - Very knowledgeable on the Lamorinda area. She showed us pros/cons of various neighborhoods and repeatedly got us in to see homes before they hit the market.- We needed a short-term rental during our search and she was incredibly resourceful to find us something quick. This wasn't a simple task as it was a) during the beginning of COVID lock downs, b) we have two pets, c) needed at least 3 bedrooms and a yard, and d) we wanted to be in Orinda/Moraga where the rental market is pretty limited.- We started our search in January, didn't make an offer on anything until June and our criteria evolved as we went, but she was always patient and persistent about sending us new listings and meeting us for showings.I highly recommend working with Meredith and would hire her again for any home buying/selling needs.

Meredith Peterson, of Pacific Union, was our agent on the recent purchase of our new home in Orinda. Buying a home is a stressful process, but Meredith not only was organized, calm and supportive throughout the process but she adapted well to our style and needs which is an important attribute to note. This intuitive style was very helpful to us, given our challenging schedules and young children. Aside from being incredibly professional and thoughtful during the process, she was very knowledgeable about each step of the way. She had excellent relationships with the lenders, service people, other agents and within the community which all aided in the success of getting us into our home. Meredith pays attention to the details, and puts in a great deal of work and time through every step of the process, as well as after the sale has closed. Meredith went the extra mile to get a painter to do touch ups, after we noticed some wall damage from stagers. This was beyond any expectation or responsibility, but it is evident of Meredith's character. I highly recommend Meredith, as she embodies both the knowledge, as well as the honesty and character that one would hope for in a real estate agent.
