We were lucky enough to receive Karin by way of a referral from another great realtor (not serving this Montclair/Essex County area) and we continue to be SO grateful for that! Karin exceeded our expectations tenfold from the first day we met, in which she drove us around to show us a new area of NJ we were unfamiliar with (we didn't think that even happened anymore!?) to the day we closed! She joined us while we checked out open houses as well as showed us homes she thought fit our wants and needs that we were unaware of. In these days of Zillow and the likes, it feels as though having a realtor isnt needed for this initial stage. Karin demonstrated how wrong that mindset is when you have such a great person working for you. She is extremely knowledgeable of the Montclair and surrounding areas (our new home is in Bloomfield!) which was invaluable to us as we had never lived nor spent much time in this area before. From day one of finding our dream home until closing day last week, Karin made this process as easy as possible keeping us informed, calm, mostly cool : ) and collected throughout what is inevitably a stressful time. We cannot speak any higher of Karin and would recommend her to anyone looking to find their perfect home! Shes also excellent with Babies making the signing process that much easier ; )!

I know Karin Diana-Toder, and hired her because she was both a friend and personable so I thought if I wanted to work with someone, it would be with some one I like. Most people might think that that was a recipe for disaster but it was quite the opposite.Karen know the Montclair/GlenRidge markets exceedingly well. She know the schools since her kids went through the Montclair school system. She has been involved in the community on many different levels, so she a varied perspective of the town, not a myopic view that some agents tend to have.We were the seller, so getting the property prepared for sale was something I had never really experienced before. Karin set up the timeline of when things had to be done, she went over what was needed to prepare the house for market, and even though I have lived in the area for year, I relied on Karin for getting people to do certain jobs that I had never needed done before. She made it easy.Usually someone is good by phone, but not email. Or by email and not phone. Karin's response time in either medium was equally impressive. She not only had to deal with myself, but also my sibling, as well as moving things through with our lawyer. Flawless is the only word I can use.The house was staged for us and looked spectacular, and during a slower time of the year it still sold in a timely manner at a more than acceptable price.I chose Karin for probably all the wrong reasons, and am writing this for all the right reasons. She is excellent, and a total professional. And with a wonderful personality to go with it all.
