I actually was working with another agent and ran into Mike at an open house. His presentation, preparedness, knowledge and comfortable personality made me sure of one thing it that house immediately... we needed HIM to be the person to help us find our home. From that point on, Mike was the perfect agent. His knowledge of the areas we were looking in and his respect for our budget and must haves was fantastic. As first time buyers he prepared us and educated us as far as finances, what to expect, what to bend on but what NOT to settle for. He was honest. If we asked to see a listing and he knew it wouldnt fit he would explain why and wouldnt waste our time and take us to see that house. He would advise us if it was next to train tracks, power lines, in a flood zone or bad school district, or point out that it lacked too many must haves. He also taught us to keep an open mind. And thats how we found our home. We were so set on a ranch style home, but one day Mike called me and said I think I found it!. The next day I pull up to said home and Mike is standing there waiting for me. I get out and I said to Mike Youre joking me right? I felt a little surprised. The guy who doesnt waste my time and is so knowledgeable, has me standing in front of a colonial!! He said Please trust me and just look. We already trusted him, so I said Ok. The house hit every mark. I rushed my husband to see it the next day. Having two floors was something we got over immediately. He guided us through every step of the way. And we were in contract after negotiations by the following week. We have now been in our home for 4 years. Mike doesnt just sell or list and leave. He always checks up on us from time to time and always answers if we have any questions to this day. One word description for Mike - Unparalleled.
