I was so lucky that Fate stepped in, grabbed me by the collar, and put me in the capable hands of David and Deirdre OBrien! I cannot speak highly enough about their knowledge, professionalism, communication, and genuine kindness when it comes to buying and selling a home. They not only made the process of buying our forever home seemingly effortless, they were instrumental in preparing and selling our primary residence (and a secondary property as well). Team O'Brien is beyond phenomenal! We first found them when we had just moved to Marin looking to buy and didn't know anything about the area. After our experience with them with buying our home, we wouldn't go to anyone else moving forward so we sought them out when it was time to sell. We moved out of the area and our home needed some repairs and touchups before it hit the market, and Team O'Brien took the lead on all of it. They truly went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. When our home was ready to hit the market, the MLS was down for about a week and a half and the interest rates were not a "seller's market". And yet thanks to their skills, their marketing to all the top brokers, and their magic, our home sold quickly and they negotiated a higher price than we had expected to get! Every step of the way they kept us informed, supported us, and also kept things fun, easy, and understandable. We HIGHLY recommend working with them if you are buying or selling your place. David and Deirdre are the best! Quickly, we learned that buying a house involves an enormous amount of decision-making. By far the most important decision we made was working with the OBriens. We were trying to find our first house with more questions than answers and struggling to navigate the bay area real estate market. Then we met David and Deirdre. They were there for us every step of the way and were able to answer any questions we had. We were thoroughly impressed with their knowledge of houses, their attention to detail and their command of the market. They listened to all our concerns and wants. As first-time home-sellers, we looked for a seasoned agent who could guide us to the best possible outcome selling our house. Eric had a solid go to market strategy that we felt very comfortable with. He knows what he's doing without a doubt. He guided me on staging the house with my own furniture, saving us a ton of money. On top of his market expertise, the team he works with is not only professional but they also kind great people to work with. Chris was was such a pleasure and very knowledgeable. Eric's team of contractors are very skillful, quick and kept the small updates on time and within budget.We came across the house we wanted to buy before we were ready to sell our home. No easy task.
