Diana Polack found us the perfect Hudson Valley house in record time. Before we met Diana, I despaired of ever finding the right house in our price range. Diana was wonderful -- we loved working with her and I cant recommend her highly enough! She listened to us very carefully, and asked insightful questions when we looked at homes. Because of Dianas insights, we became even clearer about our needs -- a diverse neighborhood, a house in excellent condition (no fixer-uppers), good walkability, close to shopping, a backyard, 3 bedrooms, and a firm budget. Diana made sure that she only showed us houses that met our criteria - and Dianas criteria as well! All the houses Diana showed us were possibilities and within our budget. I was very anxious during the search since as a city girl, Id only lived in apartments. Diana took her time with us. She answered every question, and honestly pointed out the pros and cons of the homes we were considering. What we especially appreciated was Dianas knowledge of the market. When we fell in love with a house and wanted to bid, Dianas expertise about making an offer helped clarify a stressful and confusing process. She helped us negotiate and explained what was involved. The seller accepted our bid on our first try, in spite of several other offers, and even a higher offer, to choose from. From inspection to closing, to advice on managing the selling of our own NYC apartment, Dianas knowledge and recommendations about inspectors, lawyers, cleaners, even the best supermarkets and cafes made our transition to a brand new area smooth and stress-free. We are so happy in our new Hudson Valley, Beacon home, and we have Diana Polack to thank. Thank you Diana!
