My partner and I could not have been happier with Jamie as our agent. She made our first experience buying a home not only simple and painless but fun! We were ripe with nerves, contradictory preferences, and ignorant questions, all of which she handled very patiently, professionally, and with fun-loving, positive energy.It was very easy to rate her 5 stars in each of the listed categories. Heres why:Local knowledge: My partner and I are relatively new to Austin and were unsure what part of the city we wanted to live in. Jamie provided us with relevant resources and was able to answer all of our generic questions about the city, which helped us triangulate where we wanted to live and ultimately land in a great location.Process expertise: I ask a lot of questions, and she had good answers to all of them. Additionally, my partner and I have very busy schedules atm and needed to know exactly what our inputs into this process would be. At the beginning of our search Jamie explicitly laid out each step and exactly what it required of us, which allowed us to plan accordingly. The process then unfolded exactly like she said it would with no hiccups.Responsiveness: She always got back to us promptly, often immediately.Negotiation skills: I have a lot of experience negotiating and am usually the member of my team at work pushing to negotiate harder. I felt very comfortable with Jamie negotiating on my partner and I's behalf. We were very happy with the deal we got on the house even before Jamie voluntarily negotiated an additional significant price reduction!In conclusion, Jamie is the best. Should the occasion arise my partner and I will happily work with her again!
