I have been a renter in Flagstaff for over 25 years and I knew it would be tough to find a place to buy. Rudy worked with me on two separate offers. Both of which I had to cancel upon inspection. Neither of which were his client properties. Despite these two failed attempts to purchase, Rudy stayed professional and resilient with me. Ultimately, I did not end up purchasing a home through a realtor, but through the process of two offers and two inspections with Rudy, I learned a lot about how Rudy conducted himself, what I was looking for and what to avoid. As a cis unmarried woman of middle age, Rudy was not patronizing or overprotective. He was a cautious advisor, a diligent investigator for finding contractors and repairmen, and the inspector we worked with made a great impression on me. Both Rudy (the realtor) and Jon (the home inspector) genuinely seemed to hold respect for my capacity to make decisions, having faith that I would use the full complement of information they were able to provide me as well as my own life experiences to make good decisions. It was a relationship of trust that I appreciated. Ultimately I bought through a lien auction and was able to get a great deal on a "fixer-upper" without Rudy's help but he was completely professional and understanding when I told him. From our first meeting to our last interaction, Rudy has been a quality human being. I would recommend Rudy to anyone looking for a home in Flagstaff. Thanks, Rudy!
