My wife Heather and I have known Pam and Michael Ratcliffe since 2004 when we approached her to sell our home in Otay Ranch. Pam sold it in 3 weeks for a record shattering price. Escrow went very smoothly. We didn't hesitate to call her and her team again in 2012 to list our next home. This time with the economy severely depressed, her challenge was to short sell in a down market. Competitors were routinely taking months to obtain banks' permission to list. Pam did it in eight days, and before the close of escrow, with her contacts, she had us approved to purchase our next home. We listed that home in 2018 for a market high price in a neighborhood with half a dozen other listings. Our home sold before the rest in less than a month for our asking price. This review is for Pamela Ratcliffe and her wonderful team at Coldwell Banking West. My husband and I were first time home buyers. We were looking to buy a single family home in either Eastlake or the Otay Ranch area. We were a little nervous in choosing a real-estate agent considering some of the horror stories we heard from our friends about pushy real-estate agents that show you only two or three properties and then pressure you to put down an offer. We knew from the start that we did not want to deal with that. We made an appointment with Pam Ratcliffe after seeing the glowing reviews about her and her team online. The moment we stepped inside her office, Pam made us feel like family. Apart from being a genuinely kind person, Pam is extremely knowledgeable about the areas we were looking to buy. My husband and I knew that we had found the right real estate agent. Pam and her son Michael took us to see a number of homes that fit within our budget and location preferences; all the while never pressuring us to put an offer down until we found that special house that caught our attention. After touring six homes and one offer rejection later, my husband and I finally found the home of our dreams. Pam was out of town at the time but Joe Gover of Team Ratcliffe stepped up and helped us close on the house. It has been four months since we moved in and we could not be happier!
