I can't say enough good about Melanie Cameron and her listing my home in Wilmington NC. I do not live in Wilmington and had a rental home that I needed to sell. I flew into Wilmington and met and spoke with a few other realtors even before arriving. As I met them I was not comfortable with there advice and they had differing opinions on what I needed to do as far as repairs and the listing price of my home. Melanie was straight with me and did not pressure me to sign on with her. As soon as I met her I felt she was genuine and experienced and not just telling me what I wanted to hear to get the listing. I left Wilmington the next day and contacted her with questions and we went over the selling price again and appreciated her patience and honesty. I cannot believe how lucky I was to have found Melanie and how everything really fell into place. I did not question her intentions or any advice she gave me and that was a huge relief. I was able to concentrate on what I needed to and let her take care of the sale for me. The day the house was listed there was interest and a few bids on the house and it was sold. Even this process I found difficult and needed Melanie's help and experience as far as what offer to accept and if we should take the first offer etc. Without Melanie I could've very easily chosen the wrong buyer or let the right one walk away and that did not happen. Melanie went out of her way from the start to the finish and also reminded me of things i was too stressed to think of as we were closing. I cannot say enough good here about this process for me and how fortunate I was to have Melanie Cameron as my realtor in Wilmington NC.
