We had a wonderful experience working with Kathryn over the past year, having been referred to her by our selling realtor in northern NJ. We were looking for a home in a 55 & over community and saw our first community and home in March of last year. After seeing the home we sat down for at least an hour discussing what we liked and disliked about the community, the home itself. She also helped us evaluate the financial strength of the association, history of fee increases and assessments, etc.Having narrowed our search to Four Seasons at Upper Freehold, we looked at least 20 homes in the community over the past year. With each home Kathryn guided us in determining how much work would be needed, what we liked and disliked about the floor plan, whether the home was overpriced and how motivated the sellers were.When we finally walked into the home we purchased, we knew it was perfect for us, as did Kathryn although she said nothing and just listened to our thoughts about what we were seeing. She helped determine what we should offer, then talked through the methodology with the sellers realtor, comparables she used, etc. to determine that the listing was slightly overpriced, whereupon we contracted on a price only slightly above our original offer.Kathryn also provided guidance as to home inspectors, attorneys, flooring stores, interior decorators, etc. She has been with us every step of the way through the past year. She is easy to talk to, asks a lot of open-ended questions in determining our preferences and responds quickly to calls or emails.All in all a wonderful person, a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional!!
