I met Kathy at an open house and was incredibly impressed by her. We actually talked for about 30 minutes. I went to many open houses this year and she was by far the best realtor I met. She had great materials to hand out but many realtors do. What she has that others lack is a genuine interest in each person looking for a house. She subsequently sold the house of one of my friends, the day it went on the market. In talking with my friend she told me how wonderful it was to work with Kathy. Kathy knows the town, the market and what buyers are looking for. She is very thorough in pricing the house just right and she is a genius in doing so. When we were ready to sell our house I called her and couldn't have been happier. Our house sold an hour and a half after it went on the market! Kathy was there for us throughout the few weeks until we passed papers; she arranged for all the various inspections and all we had to do is pack and leave. Packing and leaving is a hideous task so not having to worry about all the technical aspects such as radon tests and smoke detectors was a blessing. But she also was there as moral support during the packing process. She has become a friend and I shall forever be grateful that I walked into that open house that day.
