Kathy found us a home to buy that wasn't even on the market yet. She accomplished this through her network of a group of agents that all sell a very large amount of real estate. She circulated our criteria for a home purchase and had several bites from agents who were preparing to put homes on the market. Thus we got early previews of two homes before anyone else even knew about them. We had actually contacted Kathy to sell our home, not to buy one. We had already picked out a home to buy; but she found us a better one, and we bought that instead. Meanwhile she went through a painstaking process of analyzing the market and pricing our home for sale, advised us on what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done, in order to get us on the market. She referred us to multiple skilled people who helped in the process, including a staging person, mortgage banker, repair people, home inspector, etc. All these ancillary personnel clearly respect Kathy's abilities. Comments I heard from some of these folks were on the order of: "When Kathy's clients ask for something to be done, I'll drop what I'm doing, if needed, and take care of it NOW." The mortgage banker she gave me was great. He would take my calls anytime. Once I called him at 9 on a Friday night, and he called me back within a half hour. Kathy knows how to get down to business. She's a mover and a shaker. She makes decisions easily and is very organized. When things come up, she has a plan. But she also has a great sense of humor and is a lot of fun to work with. Another big plus is that Kathy's daughter, Shannon, is a realtor that works closely with Kathy and is also highly skilled and a pleasure to work with. As a team they can't be beat.
