When we were looking to buy a home in Playa Del Rey, we interviewed a few different agents. Alice Plato had great reviews on Zillow and other sites, and we saw that she had a high volume of sales in the area. Compared to the other agents that we met, we liked her right away. She struck us as incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and honest. During our time working with her over the next two months, she got to know what we liked, and spent literally hours helping us weigh the pros and cons of each property we looked at and negotiate offers. I texted or called her whenever I had a question, and she was always professional, incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and endlessly patient! In a tough market with multiple offers on properties that we looked at, she guided us to get a first accepted offer on a multi-offer property that met every one of the criteria we had started out looking for! She has so many years of experience in the area. She knew every other agent and the dynamics of the market, and we ran into so many of her former clients and they all seem to love her. By the end of the process, I can say that she is our friend, and sometimes when she has an Open House we stop by just to catch up. She clearly loves what she does. Youll be lucky to work with her!

Alice is a true professional at the top of her game. I don't know how she maintains her passion for her job after 25 years, but that passion will sell your place. You can see her eyes light up when she first walks in and you can see the wheels turning, determining how to transform a space from average to spectacular. When you list with Alice, you don't get an understudy, a "team", or anything except Alice - and Alice appears to be accessible 24/7. During our condo updates she was always responsive to questions or advice on what finishes or materials to use. Her stager is amazing and took the place up another notch. Once we listed, Alice was obviously in her element, hosting showings and negotiating offers. During escrow she was ahead of every deadline, ensuring that all ran smoothly. W e can't recommend Alice highly enough and we're looking forward to working with her again soon!
