Eric recently helped my fiance purchase a home in the Old Lyme area. He represented our best interests throughout the entire process, from looking at the right homes all the way through to our completed purchase. He was an excellent negotiator and more than that, he knew the process of buying a home better than anyone we'd ever met. Eric is a genuine good person and is a tireless agent. he assisted us with every detail along the way and the people he referred us to for inspections, etc. were all a pleasure to deal with and professional - from termite treatment to radon remediation, from home inspection to septic pumping, Eric knows the right people to call who do good honest work. We don't ever plan on moving again, as Eric really helped us get into our dream home... But if lightening strikes (fingers crossed it doesn't hit the house), and we ever sell and move, Eric will be the first person we call for both sides of the transaction. It was refreshing to work with such an honest person during a process where you often feel overwhelmed. Eric made it all right.

My wife and I had been in the market for a larger home for our growing family. Looking for over a year we had dealt with a few local real estate agents trying to go at it on our own. We decided to get serious and hired Eric on a recommendation. We were very pleased with our results. We moved into the home we wanted at a price 60k below appraisal within 3 months of retaining his services. Eric proved to be very knowledgeable on the home buying process as our situation was unique buying a relocation property, but Eric returned all of my correspondence quickly. Eric had a great knowledge of homes in the ct shoreline and showed me several comparable homes after i explained what i was looking for. My satisfaction with his services did not simply end at his procurement and negotiation skills Eric went above and beyond. We owned a condo in which we made the decision to keep and rent out, Eric made himself available with questions regarding that process and even helped with a template for a a lease contract all pro bono. Our closing was to fall on the same week as hurricane Sandy, but was pushed back do to new requirements from the lender after the storm. Eric was a reliable go between and worked many late hours making sure the deal went through as quickly as possible. Eric also found us a place to store our belongings when we moved from the condo and were still awaiting the closing of our home, he also helped us unload the moving truck. Eric showed he had an old fashioned work ethic and a neighborly sensibility. I am a sworn law enforcement officer in this state and i would not hesitate to recommend his services to any coworker looking to purchase a home. Additionally i would highly recommend his services to family members and close personal friends.
