I was in Salem taking care of my Mom's affairs after her husband passed away and soon realized that I would have to sell the house to be able to take care of my Mom, so I contacted Jake. He was so knowledgeable about the area and local prices he was immediately "our guy". I also have to add that I live out of state and had to do this whole transaction from California. I had never sold a house before, let alone long distance so I was scared to death. Jake was able to help set up an estate sale for the contents of the house, while helping to recommend and oversee repairs that had to be done before it hit the market. He kept the empty house safe and oversaw the comings and goings of people we had hired. Bottom line, the house sold on the 3rd. day. It was super fast and relatively easy because Jake took care of everything. He just guided me through what I needed to do and when to do it. I'm telling you, selling a house can be overwhelming and daunting but honestly having someone you can trust with loads of experience, who knows the area well was essential.
