Melissa helped me with the sale of my home and the purchase of another (for sale by owner). There were lots of ups and downs on the sale but Melissa did a good job of shielding me from the things such as comments or negotiations I didn't need to be aware of to make the sale go through. The purchase could have been a nightmare to walk through on my own and I am very grateful she was able to work as my representative. The forms and paperwork alone were impossible to keep track of without working knowledge of what was needed and when. She helped put me in touch with a local bank loan officer and together we managed to push it through in a very short time. Melissa came to our first meeting with a detailed plan for how to sell our house. She came in with comparable recent sales and an aggressive price target. She knew the area, knew who would be looking for a home of our size, and knew when the best time to list was.When we got an offer that wouldn't work (we needed to delay close while we moved), she didn't pressure us to take it. She said she knew she could sell our home and that we should wait for an offer that was right. We passed and she sold the home for exactly our price target, at a time that worked for us.Melissa went above and beyond. When we needed last minute paper work, she went and got it. When the washing machine broke while we were out of town, she let the repairman into our house.
