Amanda is an outstanding agent who always had our best interests at the forefront of whatever she did. As a former math teacher, she was excellent at the numbers side of purchasing a home. Her teaching background also gave her a lot of insight into the schools and neighborhoods in and around the Greater Asheville/Western Carolina region. She also has a very keen eye for value in a hot market. Here abilities and energy far surpassed our expectations. But the thing we really valued the most in working with Amanda was what I started this review with: she ALWAYS had our best interests in mind in whatever she did. For example, there was a home we were being emotional about and willing to overpay for and Amanda was very calm and professional in talking us down from an emotional decision that would have been horrible for us but good for her (she would have received a larger commission). I have always heard that most agents are working for a commission, not for you. That is the farthest thing from the truth with Amanda. She is professional, knowledgeable, personable, and so helpful. She takes her obligations as an agent (i.e., someone who represents the best interests of someone else in a position of trust) very seriously. She went above and beyond to help us find the home of our dreams and we could not be more grateful for her help.

We waited almost 9 years to get a house, and it was totally worth it. Amanda helped us find the perfect house, and our closing couldnt have gone any smoother.Amanda met us numerous times to look at homes, sometimes showing them to us more than once. She was incredibly flexible about meeting us, even though she has other clients and a family to care for. We appreciated her willingness to help us look until we found exactly what we wanted in our price range. Once we did find our home, she continued to make sure everything was completely taken care of. She even took the time to meet us to do multiple walk-throughs before we closed. The process was so smooth and not stressful at all. We appreciate all of her hard work and dedication and would love to recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home!After we moved in, she dropped off the most thoughtful house warming gift and even gave us a gift for our son (that he adores). Just the other day, she came by to give us a Christmas ornament to hang on our tree to mark the first year in our new house.
