My family and I lived in the Bay Area and after many years got tired of the hustle and bustle and decided to find a smaller community in a remote area. We spent over a year looking for the right home and with it being a 5 hour drive to see homes of interest, we often times didn?t provide Allison with much lead time. Allison was wonderful and always accommodating. She knew this would be a huge change for us and plaid attention to what we were looking for so she could make recommendations about properties that were available. Not only that but she helped ensure we understood everything that was expected of us, answered all of our questions which often felt silly but she never minded, and made what could have been a painful process painless. Allison is a long time member of this community with a lot of insight and knowledge to share and has even been there to help us after we moved into our lovely home! I turned to Allison to help me sell the home of my late brother. I was the administrator of his estate. The home was not an easy sell. It was in need of updating; my brother had started several projects to address that issue. However, he was very sick and never completed most of them. Allison had the place cleaned up and had some of the projects that were near completion finished to make it more salable. I live six hours from Burney so her help was invaluable. She was very realistic about the circumstances and helped me set a price that eventually had to be reduced, but she let me go through the process to that end. The original price was reasonable and based on comps. Being in a more remote location took time to find the right buyers. She was persistent and, I believe, patient to the end.
