Abby came very highly recommended from a number of our friends/coworkers - we feel so lucky to have had this introduction as she helped us find our perfect first home!! Both Abby and her associate, John Hendricks, were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. They kept us informed and were great communicators. As first time home buyers, we had a lot to learn, but both Abby and John were super patient in explaining things and answering any questions we had. We always felt Abby had our best interests at heart and wanted to help us find the right home that would be a sound investment. Abbys years of experience in the industry and local contacts are such a benefit. Once we found our home, Abby helped us get across the finish line efficiently, always making sure everything was ready on time. Where do we start with Abby and her team? All we can say is amazing! This is the second time Abby has helped us find a place to call home. The first was our condo three years ago. She got a list of what we were looking for and quickly found us a wonderful condo in San Rafael. We decided it was time to get a detached house for our family so we called up Abby. Knowing that we could not afford to buy a new place without selling our condo, Abby brought in her partner Lita so both ladies could get the job done and buy/sell simultaneously. There was no time of day that either of these ladies were not available. My wife and I wondered if they ever slept or took a break. We're pretty sure they have clones. There were no questions that we couldn't ask and it really made a stressful process so much easier. Everything that was done for us made sure we had the protections we needed to feel secure in everything that we were going through. There is so much more to say about team Tanem from the finance people they work with to the extra mile they go to help us out with everything. It's rare to feel like a realtor has your best interests in mind when making such a huge purchase, but Abby and her team give you that feeling. They make you feel completely secure with what's going on and pay attention to every detail. We'll never use another realtor.

Here is the truth about Abby Tanem: She is one third realtor, one third social worker, and one third magician! She recently helped us move from Hamilton in Novato to Oakmont in Sonoma during the Holidays, in a highly complex real estate transaction. We were going for a Reverse Mortgage to Purchase, a relatively unknown and new type of mortgage product. Abby's perseverance, tenacity and knowledge about the market made her totally invaluable to us. She guided us through each twist and turn of the transaction with sensitivity, grace and a great sense of humor! She absolutely would not let the deal fall through, even when that meant getting the owner of our prospective house to put on a new roof or talking directly to the mortgage underwriter to find out and provide exactly what was needed to close the deal. We couldn't be happier in our new home and have Abby to thank for it!
