Susan Roche from Caldwell Banker Realty helped us find our dream home. We contacted her during a time of great uncertainty due to COVID-19, not knowing if there was going to be a good selection of houses to choose from and how safe we were going to feel going into houses. Susan is highly familiar with Evanston and surrounding suburbs and was very good at listening to what was important for us in a home. She was respectful about our need of maintaining social distance. She was always responsive, replying to our emails and messages incredibly quickly. After about two month, we located our dream home through Susans access to house listings that are not accessible on the standard apps and websites. Once we made an offer, Susan helped smooth out the transition from contingent to home owners. Overall we are very pleased with the process of looking for a house, finding it, and buying it. If we ever need to do it again, we would love to work with Susan as our realtor.

Mary and her associate Jess Kaspar were both fantastic! When I bought the home back in 2015, Mary was the seller's broker and I was impressed with how knowledgeable she was in the area, how professional the walkthroughs of the units were, and how she made helpful suggestions especially since my broker and I were not local to the area. I remembered this positive experience six years later when it was time to sell the home. I reconnected with her and she remembered me, a surprise after such a long time. After a phone/text conversation, she came in person herself to the home (using COVID-safe precautions) and gave a quick assessment and a great price estimate that I was very pleased with. We then worked quickly, despite the holiday, to get an appointment to take professional photos, get the home listed, and begin showings (right around the time I was moving out of state). Despite note being in the same location, Mary was able to sell my home within less than a week of listing at a price that was very close to what I was hoping for, and also helped me find an attorney who helped the sale close successfully, efficiently, and in a relatively painless fashion. From a negotiation perspective, Mary helped me stay firm against a few aggressive buyer/broker/attorneys that made some efforts to propose unreasonable offers and pushed back as needed. In terms of communication, Mary and Jess were available via text and was extremely responsive, if anything I could have probably been more responsive to her! All in all, a five star experience and well worth the partnership. I highly and strongly recommend Mary, Jess and the entire team. Thank you!
