My wife and I were informed that we would be relocating for my work. The relocation was taking us to an area that neither of us had ever been before. We were on a very short timeline, so I put out some requests and Kristen immediately connected with us. Kristen listened to our story, heard what we needed, noted what we wanted, and assured us that she would be able to help meet our stringent timeline while getting us into a house that would be more than suitable. Kristen knew our need was immediate, we desired a rental home more than an apartment, and we had two small dogs. She also understood that we would only be able to visit the new city one time before our move and that she had one week to prepare for our visit. Kristen immediately went to work utilizing her connections and remained in constant contact with us, even after normal business hours. Her emails and phone calls to us proved that she listened to us and truly understood what we were looking for to complete this move. Kristen had properties ready for us to view, provided us a schedule for our visit, continually looked out for our best interest, and assisted us with on the spot interviews with property owners. Kristen had built in down time between viewings to allow for a city tour, which provided us with more information than we could have ever found just doing internet searches. Her tour was spot on for what mattered most to us and allowed us to start building a list of nearby resources. Ultimately her hard work paid off; we signed a lease on a house. This was no small task given the competitiveness of the current market, we wanted a house with a fenced in back yard, and the hardest need was finding an owner that would allow pets. I have no doubt that without Kristen we would not be moving into the house. She used her connections and most importantly her personality to persuade the owners, who listed the house as NO pets allowed, to at least meet with us and remain open minded about our dogs. Kristen could have just given us a hug and driven away after the lease was signed but she didn't. She then took us to the local utilities and made sure we had good contact numbers and knew their locations so we could promptly get our utilities transferred into our name. Kristen even told us to contact her once our move is complete so she can either help with any issues we are having or to let her know that we made it into town and everything is fine. Kristen has more than earned our respect and gratitude and she will be our first call once we get to know the area and are ready to purchase our own home!
