My wife and I had an excellent experience closing on Bay Farm Island, Alameda with Ryan Dunn. We discovered Ryan during the year we spent scouting open houses, toward the end of his day representing a seller. He drove us around and showed us comps so we would know what to expect. A year later, having met many agents along the way, we chose Ryan because of his low-pressure bearing and openness.We entered the market with a budget below the bottom of the market, expecting a long road with many, many bids. With Ryans help, we made three bids at our price and lost each of them. Then, unexpectedly, Ryan called us up with a rare and very time-sensitive opportunity to bid on a place that had fallen out of contract, if we could meet the prior bid.We managed to buy the place slightly under the asking price and as the dust of moving in has settled, weve noticed more and more that it is precisely what we described to Ryan, and more, when we began our search.
