We can't say enough about how pleased we were to work with Susan on two separate transactions. She sold our home last year, and then helped us find the perfect new home this year. In both instances, she was knowledgeable, responsive, and struck the perfect balance between providing her expertise and advice along with letting us think through our options as we made some of the most important decisions of our life. When we were selling our home, she nailed the final sale price in the very first consultation. I wanted to be more aggressive, and she accommodated that, but when push came to shove, she knew exactly what the market would pay for our home. She made sure that we were prepared, as first-time sellers, and had all of our ducks in a row. The process was completely painless. When we were looking to buy, she put up with me as I put in bid after bid at numbers that she warned us wouldn't be competitive, and was proven right each time. With our expectations and our budget so far out of whack, Susan thought outside the box and found, via her own personal network, a perfect home that was still under construction and was months from hitting the market. She negotiated a great deal and put us in a position to afford a home that we never would have been able to purchase in a competitive situation. Susan obviously won't be able to do that for every buyer, but she has the expertise and the patience to find the right solution for you.

Real estate especially in today's market, is not for the fainthearted. And they need to do more than service the seller's contract with you -- they need to really understand what you want, what you need, and how to truly care for YOU during every step of the project -- and it is a project -- to sell your home. If you are looking to sell in the Reading/Wakefield Massachusetts area, run -- do not walk -- and call Susan Gormady of Classified Realty Group. When I was considering selling my home and made my first appointment with her, what impressed me right away was how much time she took to ask me what I wanted to do, how my concerns were accurate (or not) based on the current market situation, and her strategies to make the real estate process work best for me. Susan nailed everything the first time. She knew how much work I would need to complete on my house to present it in the best possible way and steered me away from things I thought were needed but really were not necessary. She made sure I took under consideration all the factors in evaluating offers -- and they're not just price -- to decide which offer worked best for me. When it came time to closing, although I had a closing attorney do the work, I could still ping Susan with all my closing 101 questions and she never failed to reply. What is even more impressive than her skill and knowledge is her personal warmth and kindness. I was experiencing an unexpected family issue right in the middle of the sale of my home and Susan could not have been more sensitive and caring while I juggled these two major events. I followed Susan's suggestions to sell my home to the letter. I was rewarded by a phenomenal sale experience -- everything I could have asked for, not only in the sale price but in the additional considerations, the closing, absolutely everything.
