Trevor helped my husband and me buy our first home in Blue Springs. Want a quick summary of our experience?1. My husband and Trevor went to high school together, and to be honest, I was hesitant at first because in my mind, all "good" realtors were 45 year old women named Debbie. But I was WRONG. (I don't say that often). Trevor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient with my incessant questions, clear about what to expect every step of the way, and he worked tirelessly to get the job done. I really felt like we were his only clients because he was so accessible and happy to help. 2. Trevor is incredibly thorough. We were looking in February 2020, and we had a 7-month-old. Trevor would do preliminary viewings whenever possible, so we didn't have to bring our infant out in the cold/snow unless it was a house we were confident we wanted to see. Quick story: We saw a house online that we thought we'd love. Trevor went to see it first, went in the basement, noticed there were some strategically placed boxes along the concrete walls, and went out of his way to ask that all boxes be moved so he could see the state of the foundation. Turns out, there were horizontal cracks galore, and we didn't have to waste our time to find out in person. 3. Trevor knows how to read people. At one of the first houses we viewed with him, he was asking questions about what we liked, didn't like, etc. I said outright, "Listen, you'll get a different answer from me depending on the day (or hour) that you ask me". That didn't even faze him. He said he'd know when we found the right house, and he was right.4. Trevor offers advice respectfully and knows that all decisions are ultimately yours. Let me be clear -- we had no clue what we were doing. We had to rely on Trevor's input a lot. That said, I never felt pressured to make an offer, not make an offer, etc., etc. Instead, I felt informed and empowered to make the decision that was best for us. Overall, Trevor is a genuinely good person who is great at his job. He cares about all the right parts of the process -- learning about you and your goals, keeping you informed of your options, and ultimately making sure you're happy in the home you buy. He's absolutely in the business of long-term, return clients, and he has another one in my husband and me (even if he's not named Debbie).
