Living in China, we needed to buy a house in Cerritos in a short period of time before school enrollment. We reached out Emily from internet and asked her to help our house hunting. We gave her some search criteria as we had absolutely no knowledge of Cerritos except knowing ABC is a good school district. After making preview visits, Emily provided us with some house photos, videos and comparables. We made an offer on one of her recommendations. She exceeded our expectation with her excellent bargaining skills. We eventually successfully bought our house with satisfactory price.The communication between us was very smooth although we have 15-hour time difference. To serve us, Emily worked hard in her early mornings or late nights. She speaks English and Mandarin fluently so language is not a problem between us. She also has good patience in explaining the contracts and other legal information. During the entire transaction, we only flew to USA once (doing physical inspection). Escrow closed smoothly.We remodeled our house soon after the purchase. Because we were back to China preparing the move, we asked Emily to supervise the process. Although it is not her job to monitor the remodeling crew, Emily was very responsible on the decoration process and quality control. We were appreciated for her extra help. According to my experience, we consider Emily is a very experienced and trustworthy realtor. We strongly recommend her services to the distant buyers like us.
