My husband and I first met Jesse when a friend asked us to come along on some apartment viewings with her in September 2018. Immediately, we were struck by Jessies knowledge of the area (Woodlawn, also my neighborhood) and its real estate offerings. In addition, Jesse was superbly professional: he waited for our friend to do a few walk-throughs of a given apartment before offering his opinion. Finally, Jesse and our friend seemed to have developed a great friendship, full of trust. By the end of the appointment, we knew that we wanted Jesse to be our realtor. From then on, Jesse helped us understand the homebuying process as first-time buyers. He showed us a number of condos and houses all over the mid South Side. He guided us through our first attempt at buying a condo, which fell through through no fault of Jesses or our own. After that initial disappointment, Jesse went back to the drawing board and eventually found and expertly negotiated our second, successful deal. Jesse knows this industry inside and out, and that was reflected in his prompt and knowledgeable communications with us. He also has an unparalleled team of professionals in his network: from his wonderful inspector to his local legal team. We trust Jesse completely. Jesse is simply the best! No really, he is. He came very highly recommended by a number of my colleagues who had already found their happy home in Hyde Park thanks to him, so I was wondering whether he would live up the hype. Well yes, yes he did. Jesse knows the area and the market extremely well, but he is also a very good listener, and he is willing and able to answer all sorts of questions with a rare degree of patience and clarity (this was my first time purchasing a condo, and I am the type of person who has QUESTIONS). Jesse sent me daily selections matching my criteria, visited the places I had shortlisted with me, was on the phone anytime I needed a clarification. He got all the key information about places I had my eye on on my behalf, and, ultimately, he helped me negotiate to get the best deal possible. Jesse is an incredible professional, and also a very good and likeable person, which, to be blunt, is not a given in real estate.
