We could not have had a better experience than we had with Jannay. We relocated with a very reputable company that had a short list of agents they were willing to work with; Jannay was one of these, and we now see why.We are extremely detail-oriented with high expectations, and Jannay exceeded them. We chose Jannay because of her easy-going personality, her attention to detail, and her keen negotiation skills. Jannay outlined a number of negotiation strategies for us on our first visit, and we found them very impressive and insightful. I work as a technology trainer for a real estate company with over 600 agents. When I was looking for a new home in 2008, Jannay Murphy Hughes with the Murphy Team, was the first and only agent I considered to hire. Her extensive knowledge of all things real estate put any and all fears aside for my first home purchase. She always made herself available to me (I must of previewed that house half a dozen times before I made my decision) and she made it seem like I was her only client (when I absolutely knew that wasn't the case). The transaction was not an easy one for any of us involved but she was sure to give me consistent updates and keep me up to speed with all the details. After the purchase, she stayed in touch with me and she continues to stay in touch with me 4 years later. She also assisted with the unfortunate short sale of the home when the economy took a turn for the worse. She made it seem like there was a light at the end of a very long, very dark tunnel. Wow! Where to begin?! I first contacted Jannay in 2013. My husband and I were pondering the idea of purchasing. I contacted her twice before life got away from us & we continued renting. Fast forward to December 2015. We decided we needed to at least see if we even qualified to purchase a home of our own. I went through my stack of Christmas cards to find Jannay's contact info & hesitantly (because I completely flaked on her before) made the call. She instantly remembered exactly who I was. I explained our somewhat complicated situation and she put me in contact with Melissa Carson of Stanford Mortgage. To our surprise we were pre approved, & so the house hunting began. We looked at numerous homes with her & her team ( which was not easy being that my husband travels 75% of the time). Long story short, after numerous hurdles we found the house we wanted to make our home. I am 100% type A personality and had to be one of her most needy clients. She was beyond amazing!!! She was so patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. Always went the extra mile to give us peace of mind. We closed this evening on our first home!!!
