Some agents go the extra mile. Enrique went the extra 1,000 miles . . . . . LITERALLY !!!!! First he showed us around one city where we placed multiple bids. However, our top buyer dropped off the escrow and we had to cancel the offers. Next weekend, Enrique showed us houses at a lower price as our back up buyer came in with a lower bid. Then we found out that we lost $105k of equity due to capital gains taxes. I apologized to Enrique that he wasted his time on us and told him that we?d understand if he didn?t want to work with us anymore. The very next weekend, he was showing us houses for $100k less. In a much farther city. We put offers on more houses. Then, we closed escrow with our buyer, and then found out that the Franchise Tax Board took another $20k that was not on our buyer?s estimated escrow sheet. Immediately Enrique was offering ideas to help us. We could not believe his tenacity to help us find our retirement dream home that we could afford. Today, Mr. Zapata handed us the keys to our retirement dream home, and took a picture of us holding up a ?SOLD? sign in front of our new home. I usually write bad reviews for many things. Today is a rare exception to the rule. Don?t settle for agents that go the extra mile. Go with an agent that goes the extra one thousand miles. He can prove it on his odometer. Also, I was determined to accept the house as in condition. Enrique with his wolverine tenacity insisted on getting repairs made for our safety. The seller settled with an escrow credit for the repairs. If you really want an agent on your side who truly cares about you, and goes the extra 1,000 miles; Enrique is the agent you need! Thanks again Enrique!!! ?? and that?s a rare facial expression for this grouchy old man.
