My husband and I had a mission: find a place on the water - a little bit country; a place to leave our headaches 60 miles behind and at a cost of LESS THAN 100,000 bucks! It was a tall order, further complicated when we found our perfect place and wanted to close so quickly the owners heads were spinning! Time was definitely an issue. My husband would be entering the hospital for bypass surgery in two weeks. And here's the challenging place Realtor Summer Alvis entered our lives . . ..The place we fell in love with is smack on the Withlacoochee River - a *stilt* house with a closed in underneath, shown with furniture throughout. Living 60 miles away, Ms Alvis and I had to use some fancy moves to accommodate the buyers, as well as us. She's very quick to email, text, or phone you with critical issues or just the right word to sooth jittery nerves. The sellers wanted an offer on the furniture, and at first seemed unhappy with our dollar figure. But Ms Alvis has a way that puts one at ease, her sunny disposition and professionalism always fresh and conciliating. She worked smartly between both parties, finding the perfect middle ground to satisfy everyone. As an aside, for those who live out of town, Ms Alvis provides electronic signature technology through Docusign. Because of our situation, we were privileged to be the first clients to use this program with her! The method is a real time saver.Our experience with Summer Alvis was a fun pleasure, and yes, we would certainly use her services again. She's thorough, knowledgeable, and excels in flexibility - all, in our opinion, the mark of a very good realtor.
