Ryan helped us buy our dream house in Bend, and we are so grateful we found him. He is a gem. As first time buyers buying from out of state, we had lots of questions and concerns not only about the home buying process, but also about the market/neighborhoods in Bend. Ryan was invaluable throughout the process. He is extremely professional, very knowledgeable about the market in Bend, is well connected, knows a lot about the new developments being built and has a very solid understanding of construction in general which was very helpful (he knows what to look for when looking at the pros/cons of a house). He was also extremely patient with us, very quick to respond/follow-up (which matters a lot in this quick moving market) and thorough in all his answers. Through the process we felt like we could trust Ryans advice and guidance, and that he was always looking out for our best interest. We enthusiastically recommend Ryan's services for buying or selling your home. We started looking for a new home more than six months ago, and had some pretty specific criteria for what we wanted. Ryan was extremely patient, thoughtful, and worked hard to locate properties that fit our desires. Ryan also does a ton of homework on potential properties, identifying potential pitfalls/considerations with regard to past permitting, structural issues, land use designations in the general area, potential restrictions on future use, municipal development/infrastructure plans, etc. He goes the extra mile to make sure you'll be happy, in every aspect, in a future home and neighborhood. In one particular instance, he gave us sound advice regarding a house we really liked, but that had some potential issues regarding the septic system and a past unpermitted addition. As our search was dragging on, he could have easily facilitated an offer and gotten us into a house that we really liked, surficially, but that could have caused us some headaches down the road. In hindsight, we were very grateful for how he steered us. Ultimately, with Ryan's help, we found the perfect home. The purchase of the new home and sale of our existing home went as smoothly and stress-free as one could hope! The listing materials were very polished and professional, and our home had an accepted offer in less than three days. He always kept things moving forward and facilitated all the moving parts behind the scenes, while making sure we understood exactly where we were in the process--easy and stress-free for us. Ryan is personable, warm, and responsive. He takes a tremendous amount of pride in his business and in providing quality service. Highly recommended!
