Lets just say I waited a while to write this review to give him time to follow up with me. But it never happened. Would have to say the worst experience buying a house. Bought a brand new house through Steve. I get things can go wrong but he never bothered to follow up with issues that didnt get sorted before closing which pushed things over another month after closing was meant to be, so ended up costing me more money. Also a year on and the issues that never got fixed on the house are still not done - missing trims In some rooms, leaking back door, damaged front door, crooked wall in laundry, floor thats lifting at joins. Last time I talked to Steve was told to take it up with the builder. Pretty unprofessional. When i was looking at buying the house was told I cant offer anything less than asking price. I feel I was ripped off as we bought the place before it was finished so fell as though they finished the house on the cheap since it was already sold. Was told I would get landscaping which never happened. They wouldnt put anything in writing as was told everything would get down and to take their word. We still like the house just not the way things were handled. Ive learnt a lot through this process on not to trust peoples word and get everything in writing. Live and learn I suppose.

Steve is an outstanding realtor according to my standards. He is professional but in a personal way. He listened to what I wanted and helped me find just that place exactly, rather than trying to convince me I should want what he was selling. I am an out-of-state buyer and had two days to do a concentrated search. We emailed and talked back and forth and I narrowed the search to about 12 properties before coming to Arkansas. Steve suggested that some of the homes I had picked didn't really fit the criteria I had chosen, but when I said I still wanted to see them, he willingly lined up viewings anyway. He was right! They weren't at all what I wanted but learning what I didn't want was an important part of the decision-making process for me. He gave me the freedom to figure that out even though it meant a lot more work for him. Steve was well-informed which was essential for me because I was not familiar with the area. And if he didn't know the answer to a question, he said so and found out for me. He gave me good advice about negotiating a price when I asked for it, and took care of lining up the inspection and overseeing repairs since I live in another state. And one of the best things was that throughout the process he responded to my texts, emails and calls in a timely fashion. It was a pleasure working with Steve and if I am in the market for property in northwest Arkansas again, I'll immediately call Steve.
