John helped us buy our first home in Harrisburg, throughout the process he was very helpful and always replied quickly to any questions we had. We had been pre approved from our bank and John met us Sunday morning to show us several homes, after making an offer on the one we liked we found out from the inspection that it needed costly repairs. Neither ourselves nor the sellers had the funds to make them, they lowered the price but the bank wouldn't lend us the difference. John helped us with that issue and put us in touch with a lender who offers FHA loans that are tailor made for our issue. The drawback with the FHA loan is that it requires the contractor to effectively front some of the funds for materials something most are unwilling to do. John worked tirelessly to find a contractor that would work with us and even when it seemed like the deal would fall through he made sure it didn't, he was willing to meet several contractors on our behalf as we live 200 miles away from where we are moving too. I would recommend using John as a realtor to anyone thinking of buying a home in the Harrisburg area.
