We most highly recommend Scott Warren of Boone Realty. Scott is a veteran realtor and specializes in Boone and surrounding area which is a critical distinction for selling or buying property in the area. Ive purchased/sold 4 homes across the country and Boone has unique factors that I?ve never encountered in any other town. My husband and I inherited a home in Boone NC which we rented out for 14 years. We live in California and havent seen the place since. We started talking to Scott over a year ago as he guided us through the various considerations to get the house sold in this ever-changing market. Scott checked out the house and provided recommendations on every aspect of the sale including the ?do?s? and ?donts? on improvements to the house, time of sale (tricky with a rental), and even suggested we raise the rent before the next cycle (new tenants, new lease) as it was undermarket price . We immediately felt at ease. As we progressed through the process, Scott was super responsive, assisted with every request, and always made us feel like we were treasured clients even though our house was far from high-end. As we neared the time for selling, the pace picked up. Scotts expertise and experience were invaluable as we encountered various local quirks, one being that we had a shared road with multiple neighbors with no shared maintenance contract. He handled every obstacle with ease. We closed on the sale much faster than we expected and within our expected price range. We feel certain had it not been for Scott, we would have had a very different (negative) outcome. As we got to know Scott (virtually), it was clear hes noble, honorable, and cares greatly for friends, clients, and community. Were thrilled we found him. It was an honor to do business with him.

Scott was truly the best Realtor we have ever come across (and we are in our 60s!). He does his homework and explains his data to you. He understands the local market. He is a straight shooter and will tell you what needs to be done to get your house sold. He referred us to a superb jack-of-all-trades who shepherded us through a major repair project and a whole lot of smaller projects. He is a master negotiator. And best of all, he gets back to you quickly when you contact him with a question or concern. Due to my husbands job situation, nearly all the work of repairing/renovating and listing our out-of-state house fell to me, and Scott was invaluable. He patiently dealt with my stress and questions.
