What a tremendous disappointment. We used Colleen Blondell as both a buyer's agent and as a seller's agent. She is well-known within our community and has received many positive reviews. In spite of this, we suggest that you demonstrate extreme caution prior to hiring this agent to represent you. She does not demonstrate the appropriate attention to detail, follow-up and commitment to customer service that is essential to a positive experience. Her attitude bordered on rudeness to us as well as toward her colleagues. She was dismissive to our requests more than a few times. She has a very high opinion of herself and her skills, and that makes her take her customers for granted. The home we were selling is in a very desirable neighborhood that turns over quickly regardless of the listing agent. We cannot imagine if we had a challenging property to sell how horrible our experience would have been. Our advice is to proceed with caution, interview her rigorously and if you decide to hire her, hold her accountable to the highest standards. She can be very charming as she approaches you to sign a listing contract, but that charm is quickly switched off. Buying and/or selling a home is stressful, it's important to have robust representation. We honestly would never use her services again under any circumstances.
