It took us a few years to find our dream home and Mike was there for us through all the lows and highs. He listened to our needs and always had recommendations and suggestions to fit those needs. He is professional, punctual, pleasant and optimistic even when things are not going well. There were quite a few times that he offered, and we took him up on his offer, to preview a property so he could describe it to us. Quite a few of those properties were quite a distance away but he stuck by his offer. His knowledge of the area and the cadre of professionals needed is very impressive and extremely helpful. We feel that he provided us with excellent service throughout the process and since he is local and so knowledgeable, we feel we can reach out to him well after our closing and moving in to our new home. His professionalism is outstanding and his easy going nature is extremely helpful for the highly emotional process of buying and selling homes. We wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend his services.

From start to finish Mike was the consummate professional. By the end of the process, I think now of him, as my friend. I live full time in Texas. I was looking to purchase a place in Maine. Mike was the listing agent for the home I ultimately purchased. I not only called him for that reason, but too, for his great reviews and high rating. My list of properties, if I remember correctly, totaled 18. With careful and thoughtful advice and guidance, with information only Mike could provide, I decided to cull some of the properties from my list. Here are just a couple of examples why. When doing my searches I knew the names of the towns I was interested in and where I would like to live. Having spent time in these areas I had a reference for them. But that didnt mean I knew the areas. One home I chose was very far out in the countryside. Appealing yes. Until all of the environmental concerns of having a place in Maine in the winter are brought to ones attention. And when that romantic idea of a place has a septic system and well water, and lots of other maintenance issues, all of which were not appealing, the romance wears off pretty quick. This happened a couple of times. Another example was of a really great looking home, which has a serious asbestos issue that clearly was not visible to me. Over the course of two days Mike patiently drove me all over the midcoast from Wiscasset to Belfast. Lots of great conversation and advice took place during those drives. With his help and direction from finding a lender, to inspector, to selecting a caretaker, once the home was mine, Mike provided help and expertise with thoughtfulness and no pressure. On a personal level he has a very easy going, but worldly, personality, that was very comforting at certain moments along the way. Especially right before the proposed closing date, when there was a slight glitch on the sellers end, that could have postponed the closing. Mike and the sellers worked together to make everything right. The excitement has not yet worn off. Only a week ago today, I was at the closing table with Mike. I am so grateful for his help in helping me, realize my dream, of having a place in Maine. Now if only I can figure out how to spend more time up there! Where I know that I will honored to have Mike and his lovely wife be guests at my table.
