Jeff Char and his team partner, Taryn Loo, were indispensable in the successful sale of my property. Our family had worked with Taryn previously on the purchase of property for my daughter and were convinced we would solicit her services and professionalism once again. My estimation of Taryn's tenaciousness as an advocate then was that I would not entertain an offer to purchase my property from a future buyer if they happened to be a client of Taryn's. Working directly with Jeff Char this time around proved to be no less an impressive and satisfying experience. Jeff and Taryn made themselves available 20/7 for my "dumb" questions and without hesitation offered to get their hands dirty helping me with dump runs, picking up fumigated insects and poop, fixing leaking faucets, installing stubborn smoke alarms - and not once allowing their own wedding planning deadlines to distract from their efforts on my behalf. After having such a bad experience with another real estate company, my husband and I requested to get a new agent from a different company through our USAA Real Estate Referral Program. Luckily, we were paired up with Colin Lee from Better Homes & Gardens and our whole experience as first time home buyer changed completely. During our first meeting, Colin was very informative - he formally introduced himself, gave us background information on his career and his credentials, along with an overview of the whole process of buying a home and explained to us how he would be involved in helping us. This was very comforting to us and it allowed us to gain a lot of trust and faith in Colin, since we were first time buyers and didn't know what to expect. As time progressed and we started looking at homes, Colin exceeded all our expectations of what a real agent does. He was very helpful and flexible - always readily available to response to any questions we had (via email, text, and any time of the day), listened to what we wanted, explained everything, and provided us with all the tools we needed to eventually buy our first home. Colin went above and beyond when it came to the closing of our home. Due to our work schedules being hectic, Colin was extremely flexible and he went out of his way to make sure the process was painless for us. Colin made sure everything met deadlines by setting up all our appraisals, inspections, and signing, in addition he had our backs and had our best interest at heart. He was patient and negotiated with the seller to help us get the best deals. In the end, we ended up with the house that we wanted and our experience was a lot less stressful than it had been prior. What makes Colin an exceptional RA and deserves is because he knows his craft, he's professional, and most importantly, a person who is honest and will work for their client.
