I am a first time home buyer and didnt know a real estate agent nor the home buying process prior to this house hunt. I needed some extra explanations and time to make decisions and weigh my options throughout the process. Teri stood by me and helped me understand the fine print and didnt make me feel in a rush. She is upbeat, dependable, available nearly 24/7 via email and text. Despite my newness to home buying, she didnt give up on me when I got uneasy and almost backed out from my dream home. I was honest with my price point and deal breakers and she made sure the properties we saw fell within that range. I needed a realistic agent who would push me outside my normal thought process but not outside my budget. Teri seemed personally invested in my purchase as if it was for her own family, hence making sure it was a good deal and worth every penny. We celebrated the highs, mourned the lows, and high-fived when the deal was finally done. My new home is older and required much negotiation before I would commit to buying it. She hung in there with me and went to bat every time, even for the smaller things that were meaningful to me that another agent may have written off as too small to worry about. My husband and I have had the great privilege of working with Terri now on two separate and very different house buying experiences. In 2015, we purchased our first home, and Teri patiently and diligently walked us through the first time buyers experience. It was smooth, and she answered every question we asked; but moreover, she helped us with the questions we did not know to ask. The house we purchased was in a perfect neighborhood, and had all the features we wanted at the price we needed. We loved that home, and Teri told us we would before even seeing it; boy, was she right! Then last year in 2019, when our family needed to transition to a bigger home, she walked us again through a much different house buying experience; she approached a builder on our behalf, and we bought a home that had not even been constructed. Through the entire building processaEUR"6 months in totalaEUR"she was our voice in the process, and worked with both our lender and the builders to make sure the house was completed to our expectations. I would wholeheartedly recommend Teri to any of my friends. We were in the market for a house in Merced and to say the least had had a very bad experience with our previous agent. So when I met Teri, I was overly cautious having been burnt once and also very much behind schedule with regard to the loan sanctions, etc. But she came through for us in every way. She was attentive to detail, responsive, understood our needs and strongly recommended the home even over my initial apprehensions. Her local knowledge and professional experience helped guide us to this home and through the whole ensuing process. We selected the home and closed the deal in record time and all the time it was enjoyable working with her. Today I would be honored to count her as one of our friends in Merced.
