As first time home buyers, my mother-in-law, who is a highly successful out-of-state real estate agent, knew we needed a local agent to help us navigate the home buying process. In addition to being friendly, highly organized, responsive, and knowledgeable of all things real estate, Philip genuinely loves Southwestern VA as much as we do and takes pride in helping people find their home here. Philip challenged us to identify our top priorities and set realistic expectations early on in the process. Thanks to those early efforts, we found our home on the third house we toured! Phillip was a breeze to work with! I contacted Phillip after a friend recommended him to me when it was time to start searching for my first home. Right from the start Phillip was very personable and direct. He made sure he understood what I was looking for in a home. Also helps that he lives in the area and is familiar with the neighborhoods. When it came time to buy in a very competitive market, he was up front and honest with me about what would be required out of an offer in the market. When it came time to put in an offer, he was very thorough when explaining the nitty gritty details of the offer which I appreciated, and he was able to negotiate a great deal and timeline that worked with me trying to move out of my apartment. Not knowing what to expect buying my first house, I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process, and that he was looking out for me. I highly recommend working with Phillip!
