I was unable to sell the property for two years with a different realtor. The first day I met Iris, she walked through the house making specific suggestions on what needed to be fixed and, more importantly, why. The prior realtor made none, and actually discouraged me from 'wasting my money'. At that first meeting she made a call to a tax lawyer to set the wheels in motion for filing a grievance to lower my taxes, a suggestion not previously made. While the prior realtor suggested lowering the price, I was resistant, so we compromised on a slow series of compromises that did not keep up with market changes. Iris was absolutely firm on what the price needed to be to draw in customers, explaining why in detail, and although it took me a week to come around, I reluctantly agreed. Iris was absolutely on target, as the first open house drew 15 potential buyers, and we continued having open houses, all well attended (prior open houses brought in zero to three people). Even at the reduced price it still took several months to sell the house, but many people were interested and the final price was higher than the asking price. Iris was always responsive and her team consisted of excellent, well informed professionals. I give her my highest recommendation!
