The initial meeting was great. My condo was listed on the market quickly and with ease. The communication after it was listed was lacking. I was not informed of the next steps regarding the sale or the inspection dates. I never received an official call that my counteroffer was accepted. I had to check the online paperwork to see if the buyers had signed the offer. Additionally, the home inspector came to inspect the property without me having any prior warning. I was just as surprised as the inspector when he knocked on my door. I had boxes and packing materials scattered everywhere which he had to go around to complete his lengthly inspection. I reached out to the closing agent regarding other important dates I should know about and questions I had and was given short, brief responses. All communication was initiated by me, not by anyone at the office. I left a message at the office regarding my experience and lack of communication throughout the process. My call was quickly returned and the owner did her best to remedy the situation. While I am still disappointed with the lack of communication throughout the process, I am appreciative of the response I was given when the realtor was made aware of the circumstances.
