I am from Los Angeles and wanted to buy an apartment in Philadelphia, a city I love and have lived in before. Living in Los Angeles obviously makes the search for an apartment a little more challenging. Thankfully I was introduced to Jake Silverstein and he truly went out of his way to help me find and buy the perfect apartment!! During our initial conversation, we discussed what's important to me in the ideal apartment: abundant natural light, location, layout, in-unit laundry and move-in ready condition. I combed through the Zillow listings and Jake went and took a video tour of each property I was interested in. He steered me away from properties that he felt didn't meet my criteria and also referred me to a local lender for my loan preapproval. Within weeks of my search, I found the property I wanted and Jake helped me submit an offer that was accepted. I'm very happy with the outcome and have already referred him to another friend I know that's interested in buying an apartment in Philadelphia.
