I am from Los Angeles and wanted to buy an apartment in Philadelphia, a city I love and have lived in before. Living in Los Angeles obviously makes the search for an apartment a little more challenging. Thankfully I was introduced to Jake Silverstein and he truly went out of his way to help me find and buy the perfect apartment!! During our initial conversation, we discussed whats important to me in the ideal apartment: abundant natural light, location, layout, in-unit laundry and move-in ready condition. I combed through the Zillow listings and Jake went and took a video tour of each property I was interested in. He steered me away from properties that he felt didnt meet my criteria and also referred me to a local lender for my loan preapproval. Within weeks of my search, I found the property I wanted and Jake helped me submit an offer that was accepted. Im very happy with the outcome and have already referred him to another friend I know thats interested in buying an apartment in Philadelphia.

I was living in Washington D.C. and looking to buy a condo in Philadelphia. Jacob and I were connected via Zillow after I expressed interest in a particular property as a first-time homebuyer. Within 5 minutes, Jacob gave me a phone call to chat about my interests and preferences. Within 5 hours, Jacob went to the condo, took a full video tour, and gave me his thoughts on its pros/cons. Extremely responsive, very accommodating, and thoroughly honest. Within another week, we arranged a walkthrough of the property, submitted an offer, negotiated back-and-forth, and ultimately went under contract. Jacob went above-and-beyond each step of the process to ensure that everything was well-explained to me and that my best interests were looked out for. Even after closing, Jacob continued to help me out with a couple things in the condo when I could not get back to Philadelphia for a few weeks.
