My wife and I both grew up in Maine, and following retirement decided to relocate back there. We asked the trusted real estate agent listing our house in Colorado to recommend an agent in southern Maine. He checked and based on the performance records of the agents he reviewed recommended Troy Wilkins. We were in contact with Troy by e-mail while our house in Colorado was on the market; we described the type of home we wanted and, since we didn't know how long it would take to find the new house, asked him to look into temporary rentals as well. He followed up. During our subsequent house-hunting trip, he showed us a number of homes that might fit our requirements; he also provided for our consideration a number of rental units in case we needed to rent for a while. However this was unnecessary since at the end of the week during which he escorted us to various houses for sale, we found the ideal home for us. Troy was very helpful during negotiations, helping us to get the best price agreeable to both parties. As with almost all houses, some repairs or modifications were needed, and Troy was helpful in recommending qualified local tradesmen. We would highly recommend Troy Wilkins.
