When my husband and I first started looking for our first home, we thought we knew exactly what we wanted & what we were doing. Boy, were we wrong. We were in over our heads and much pickier than we thought. We started working with Kelly about a month before our wedding. We had a small 2 month window after our wedding to make a purchase or wind up in a year long lease wasting money on an apartment. The first time we met her, paranoid about getting lost in the process & having the wool pulled over our eyes, my husband asked her, "Kelly, you're not going to do us dirty are you? You're going to be straight up and help us find a house, right?" She assured us that she would do whatever she could to find us a house. Her modest assurance did not do her justice. As first time homebuyers, we really had no idea what we were doing. Kelly never tried to take advantage of that but used it as an opportunity to teach us. She directed us in the right way that would keep us from wasting time or losing money but if we insisted she fight to make something happen; mark my words, she fought. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought that we were Kelly's only clients. She always answered her phone, texts & emails. Once, we called her at the last minute on a Sunday to see if she could show us a house within the hour and she made it happen. She knew that it was hard for us to get together to look at houses so she would regularly send me email listings of homes that met our specifications so we could narrow down our top picks. After two offers that fell through and only one month away from our purchase deadline, we were starting to feel discouraged. Then Kelly sent me an email listing for a house I had previously said I wasn't interested in. She said that she couldn't stop thinking that this house was perfect for us and highly encouraged us to see it. We agreed to see the house she suggested. We were amazed at how much we loved it. It already felt like home. It was as if she knew what we needed more than we did. Once again, we asked Kelly to fight for us. She certainly did. We closed on our dream house one week before our deadline. What we loved about Kelly was that she was personal & professional. She had a contact for every service we needed along the way, it made the closing process incredibly easy. At the same time, she was attentive to our needs and truly a friend to us. I can't wait to have her over for dinner & show her what we've made of the house that we would have let go if it wasn't for her. I would absolutely recommend Kelly Miller to anyone and will definitely be using her services the next time I'm in the market. Thank you, Kelly!
