Eva is a fantastic broker! Generally speaking, I am skeptical of brokers and the added value they can bring to a transaction, but Eva really changed my mind. Eva was very knowledgeable about the area where we were trying to buy, and really showed us a good variety of places. She actually found the place we ended up buying--an incredible deal, and something we'd missed in our own search! Eva is also someone who won't pressure you into paying too much or doing something you don't want to do. She was really good during negotiations, listens to what you need, and is respectful of your wishes. We had a complicated deal, and Eva was really able to help keep things on track. She also has a wealth of good people she can recommend, from lawyers to inspectors! Finally, Eva has great post-closing follow through. Even after the deal was done, Eva helped us with minor post-closing issues that often fall through the cracks after everyone is paid. We were very, very pleased!

Eva called me when I was still undecided about what to do in my situation concerning my town house and my age and health. She was an excellent sounding board for me as I struggled with this decision. One young couple I know has rented out their furnished home that has turned out to be a very good for them in that they use their income to pay their mortgage and rent on a much cheaper, but highly satisfactory, other living situation. Because my house is in a highly desirable location, it occurred to me that perhaps I could follow that example and rent my house. Eva ended up selling my house, rather quickly, at my price. It was the right thing for me to do. I am not a landlord as I would have been if I had chosen to rent my house. She was always there when I needed her helping me with everything. Because this was the first time I have ever sold a house, she taught me a lot about the process. I had lived in my home for 11 years after the death of my husband; at first I couldn't imagine how I could possibly clear out 46 years of accumulated things. Little by little, we figured it all out. She could not have been more willing to work with me. My family members, who do not live in Illinois, helped by clearing out their belongings; however, it was Eva who was always there immediately available to discuss how I could best arrange my living situation at this time in my life. I shudder to think that I might have become a landlord. Although my house served us well for 46 years, I am grateful that Eva was there to discuss my situation and to work so diligently to sell my town house. It is also important that it was sold to responsible people who will help take care of the neighborhood as we did. Donna Graham
