John was a fantastic resource to our family from start through close! We worked with John in November 2019 to find our new home in the Western Suburbs. We were relocating from Austin, TX. John immediately got us set up on the MLS and got to work searching for homes that matched our needs. He was available nights and weekends for questions or to provide more info on potential homes. He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to the area as he grew up there and was able to provide a lot of insight into things to do, activities, schools and just differences in neighborhoods. When it was time for us to make a decision, John coordinated, scheduled and accompanied us to 15 viewings in a weekend. After finally finding our Dream Home, we worked into the evening together to get the offer out. From there, John was a valuable resource in keeping the process on track given our tight closing window of less than 30 days. He was very responsive in working with our lender. He was also very organized throughout the numerous back and forth between us and the sellers as well as an additional layer of complexity which involved a relocation company. We worked will together via all modes of communication. Text was great for quick questions and brief updates. Calls were best for immediate resolution to issues or to talk through complexities. Of course email and DocuSign were fantastic for quickly executing agreements and getting signatures. John was present at the close and continues to be a resource for recommendations of service providers and other professionals in the area.
