Mellanda always took the time to do a little bit extra. She always responded to calls/texts. She was diligent in making sure that all my needs were met and that I was getting what I wanted. It was a nerve racking process but she always remained positive and helpful making calls on my behalf and doing leg work.I found Mellanda by happenstance when I was looking at another property and because she took extra time with me told me to go with her even though I had been in contact with other agents she proved herself to be the most warm and inviting, a thing that I look for when having someone assist me with one of the most important purchases I'm ever going to make. I would recommend highly--especially if you're looking for someone who is really looking out for you and not just trying to find a house to sell you so they can get their cut of the sell. Many other 'popular' agents tout how many sales they make to show how good they are, and thats not a bad thing...it shows that they know what they're doing, but sometimes agents can come off a lot like a waiter at a fancy restaurant--always pleasant and curious because they are supposed to be, but ultimately they are only helping you to help themselves and it can come off as disingenuous. Not Mellanda! She's a people person but also knows her stuff.
