As first time home buyers, we enjoyed working with DaShawn. He is attentive and responds to emails / calls quickly; and he set up numerous house showings on one day that followed a great timeline. DaShawn was also the only realtor we reached out to that wanted to jump on a call with us to really get to know our needs (other than bed/bath count), which was the reason we chose him as our realtor in the first place. He pointed out "quick flips" as we were touring, which was very helpful for us; he taught us to look under the cosmetics of things like flooring and paint. Where we could have used more support from DaShawn was during the negotiation / closing process. Had we not done our own research and had a good understanding of unique ways to write an offer, the outcome may have been different. Additionally, once our offer was accepted, we felt we had to do a lot of reaching out to DaShawn on progress of closing, and felt mislead on the seller's perspective of getting to an agreement on the sale of the house and the additional lot next door. Overall, we enjoyed working with him and would recommend DaShawn to more experienced home buyers.

After DaShawn sold two other homes in our cozy cul-de-sac, I called his number and said something to the effect of we don't know each other, but I want you to be our realtor. Luckily, he accepted us as clients, and through the course of selling our home and buying another, he's become our friend. Even our teenagers think he's cool, and we all know teenagers are hard to impress! DaShawn listened to our needs and wants and developed strategies to make them happen. He presented strategies to us first and let us pick which ones to employ so we always felt in control. If we didn't understand something and asked for his professional advice, he explained it clearly, and gave us pros and cons on how different scenarios have played out for his previous clients. Working with DaShawn was such a positive experience overall. I recommend him without hesitation!
